With A Grateful Heart

Gratitude is a sincere appreciation for blessings or help we have received. The Divine Gift of Gratitude President Thomas S. Monson A grateful heart, then, comes through expressing gratitude to our Heavenly Father for His blessings… My brothers and sisters, do we remember to give thanks for the blessings we receive? Sincerely giving thanks not only helps us recognize our blessings, but it also unlocks the doors of heaven and helps us feel God´s love. President Gordon B. Hinckley said, "When you walk with gratitude, you do not walk with arrogance and conceit and egotism, you walk with a spirit of thanksgiving that is becoming to you and will bless your lives.". I live with gratitude for the blessing's the Lord has blessed me with. I truly am grateful for my family, my husband and children. I am truly thankful for my home-for the safety it provides from the outside worldly cares. I am truly grateful for my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints. I am thankful for the gospel and what it teaches me. It has guided me through my life...in helping me make the best choices. It has helped me in teaching my children correct principle, helping me help them find joy here upon the earth. There are so many things I am grateful for... For sunrises and sunsets For beautiful gardens For quiet moments to reflect For music For Friendships For the ability to LOVE For Helping others For Children For Laughter

Sunday Evening Fun

The kids get out all the LPS (littlest pet shop) animals out, all the Fisher-price houses and what ever they can find and build a play city. It is fun to watch them use there imagination and get along so well together.

It's Shaelyn's Birthday

Put another candle on the birthday cake, cause Shaelyn turned 9 today. Shaelyn loves her family, she loves to be with everyone. She so sweet and caring, always caring for others. A Big HELPER! She loves to PLAY- she would rather play all day then anything else. We love you so much Shaelyn..

Brittany turned 11

Growing up to be quite a little young lady. Loves to be with her big sisters, loves to try new things, playing the piano, listing to her mp3 player, loves to read and
is excelling in all her school work! Amazing she is.

Jared's 1st Birthday

It is just unbelievable how fast time has gone. It seriously feels like it was just a few days ago when we got to bring our little baby boy home. He's so sweet and loving, He is a cuddlier. I like to cuddle with Him. Maybe that's why he clings to me just a tad to much...He's got a few teeth-3 on the bottom and 1 eye tooth on top. Doing there own thing, I suppose. Not up to walking yet-likes to crawl, takes a few steps then back to crawling.. He's just staying small for me. He loves to be around His sisters and brothers. And loves to play peek a boo with his DAD. He loves music and dancing. Thanks for being my little Baby!

Off to High School

Not only has Makayla gotten taller(taller than me!) She is moving onto HIGH SCHOOL...
Lorianne does not like that idea one bit. Kind of Funny-I so remember Sibling Rivery!!!
Promotion Night and Social Dance, Her first school dance, here with her friend Mckinley(aka BOB). When Mike and I picked her up that night we believe she was floating on cloud 9. She had such a good time. She talked about for DAYS!

The Pink Lady's

Shaelyn started taking dance back in September and boy can she dance...The music comes on and her hips start a shaking. The performed at the Convention Center with the Dance Studio. Dancing through the Decades was the theme this year, some pretty interesting dances...Shealyn's group was the best and I am not kidding! There dance was from the 50's. So, "Grease" it was, they were the Pink Lady's. Loved the outfits!

Soccor Fun

Ryan wanted to take up a sport this year. So, Mike thought that would be a great idea! Me, stressing! -all those practices and games! But, It wasn't all that bad. And despite the snowy weather, IT was alot of fun! After, we told Him he didn't need to be afraid of the ball, things looked pretty..He made a goal and boy I was out of my chair so fast cheering Him on...He was probubly wishing His mom would stop yelling..HA! Too much Fun!

ACTION!

Makayla stared in the play "The Princess and The Pea". She was the most beautiful princess in the Kingdom. She came to marry the prince but instead ended up running off with the Prince's best friend and servant! Very funny and cute play.

The Annual PTA ART Contest

The PTA Art contest is held every year, in 2008 Brittany entered and won. This past year(2009)they all decided to enter. The theme was "what was beautiful to them." They all did awesome. Shealyn was the winner this year.

Trying to Catch Up!

My goal was to try to keep up and let you in on what is Happen' up here in Nevada...with our family. Yes! I admit I am not very good at posting new info in a very timely manner. But, I am trying!
I do admire all my family and friends that keep up with it! I love to look and check out their blogs and read all about what is happening.
So, I guess I better change my goal to: It will be posted sooner or later!
